Almost There

There are stories in the gospel about people who are “almost there.” We would characterize this person as a “good Methodist” but Jesus is always in the mode of challenging us to “go deeper” or to take “one step up.”

Where Jesus Stands

There is a wonderful exchange between the blind man and Jesus. Jesus stands still for us to be in his presence. He also wants to know the truth, “What is it you want me to do for you?” This will be a reminder that the king of the universe is concerned about our daily affairs.
