Music in the traditional service is typically led by our Chancel Choir and Music Director, Rev. Micky Cloud. The United Methodist Hymnal is our main source of congregational music sung in this service. We regularly have special music performed by the choir, and often have special solo and ensemble performances to share

While there’s no “official dress code” for the traditional service, many men will wear a nice shirt with a tie, and ladies a nice blouse or dress. There’s also plenty of people who feel comfortable wearing their jeans and nice shirt to the traditional service.

In the Contemporary Worship service, our worship band leads the congregation in recent songs from artists like Elevation Worship, Bethel, Hillsong United, and other popular Christian artists. The chances are good that if you listen to Christian radio, you will be familiar with much of the music heard on a Sunday morning. For a sample, check out our “Weekend Playlist” on Spotify!

We want you to feel at ease when you walk in, and not have to worry about fitting in based on what you’re wearing. It’s not uncommon to see someone in shorts and flip-flops sitting next to a friend wearing a button-down shirt and tie in the Contemporary Worship. Jeans and a t-shirt are pretty common, too.
