Praying People: A Church-Wide Study

Trinity will be kicking off 2025 with a focus on prayer as individuals and a community. What does it look like to pray prayers of thanksgiving, commitment, lament, and repentance? As a church body we will read daily scriptures together, study the Word of God, and hear sermons that focus our hearts on what it looks like to be a people of deep prayer. If you are not already in a Small Group or Sunday School Class this is a great time to get connected and walk with others through this study. Readings begin December 30 and end January 26. 21 Days of Prayer

Along with our church-wide study on prayer during January, we want to embark on 21 days of prayer as a church body. Starting January 6th there will be a hour of prayer offered from 6am to 7apm during the week. On Saturdays we will pray from 9am-10am. Our prayer time will be in the Trinity Center. We encourage all to start your day with prayer.

Hand-Me-Downs Opportunity

We are collecting gently used household items for newly arrived international students at La Tech, who sometimes struggle to furnish their dorm rooms and apartments. We are accepting pots, pans, kitchenware, coats, bedding, and furniture. Drop off in the church office. Large items will need some coordinating. Contact Marie Burns for details.

Jingle & Mingle

Trinity’s senior adults are invited to a time of dessert, coffee, and fun with the church staff December 9 at 1:30p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. There’s no charge and the only thing you need to bring is you! Please RSVP by December 5 by calling the church office.

Deborah Study

Dr. Sandra Richter’s Deborah study that she shared with us in January 2022 is now a completed group study! This study draws students immediately into the grand tale of Deborah and Barak, Jabin and Sisera, and of course the most unlikely of leaders, Jael. This 8 week study starts January 16th at 9:30am in Room 110. Workbooks are $26 each. Sign up at our website. All are welcome.

Youth Six Flags Trips

Senior High Six Flags Trip for 9-12th grades on January 25, 2025. The cost is $100. We will meet at Church 7:30 a.m. and will return around midnight. Junior High Six Flags Trip for 6-8th grades on February 22, 2025. The cost is $100. We will meet at Church 7:30 a.m. and will return around midnight.

Children’s Angel Breakfast

Our 3, 4 & 5 year olds will be a part of this Trinity Tradition as they celebrate the Christmas Story, enjoy breakfast and have special visitors. You must sign your children up for this event so we can plan seating. There will also be an opportunity to sign up to help decorate and/or bring food. Please feel free to invite your friends!
